The minimum wages that you have to pay to any manual labourer is Rs. 250/- a day - for 6 hours of what they deem to be work. The carpenter gets Rs. 300/- to Rs. 500/- a day. A live-in maid comes at not less than Rs. 4500/- plus food and clothes, a month. If you use her for other things, you pay extra.
