1) Gandhi was a member of the British Army in South Africa. He was a loyalist to the Empire. He used to recruit soldiers for the British in 1915 in the First World War.

Please read the whole poem of Iqbal. he wrote clearly his "Hindustan" is for the Muslims only, as it is written in one stanza, "Muslim hai hum".

I think it is a wrong step(not a bad though) by BJP. Jaswant"s expulsion is totally unnecessary. They should have first removed him from party key position and then show cause notice and then expulsion. Now he has sympathy on his side. But one thing is for sure, Jaswant always took advantage of BJP for his personal promotion.
