20 CGanesh on Monday, August 06, 2007 :

VERY VERY INTERESTING ARTICLE I already had serious doubts about the different tactics and antics of the Americans. I thought that they are well-versed in the art of manipulation and no doubt applied what Chanakya taught in his " Arthashastra " in India or Niccolò Machiavelli in Italy. Now with the advent of Sonia on the throne of Delhi, the Americans will do everything to precipitate before she goes out of power and execute their strategy by prempting any progress in "thorium" technology in India and killing it in the bud. Thus a future India economically servile to the US but militarily defenceless will be ideally vulnerable and easily exploitable. Second, they will , I think , dump their radio-active waste in India (by secret shipments or by mediatic manipulation asserting their harmless nature) knowing perfectly the politicians in India never will resist their monetary offers in secret coffers. Thirdly, they know what to steal, where to steal and how to steal. In India, the "matière grise" is abundant not oil ! They don"t need to research on stategies to steal this. Just by letting MNCs AND OTHER AMERICAN VARSITIES accumulate patents from Indian workers will do. So, the Americans will do everything to prevent India profit from this "brain power" in military or agricultural fields. Monsanto and Military are two eyes of the US.
19 R. Sharma on Monday, August 06, 2007 :

In this cold war India will be a loser. India does not understand, "there is no permanent friend or enemy for the US only the permanent interest". USA is successful to destroy India"s nuclear weapons programme. It is also successful to create bad blood between India and Russia, as India is not buying anything much from Russia but from Israel and Britain, and USA itself.
18 Anindya Chatterjee on Sunday, August 05, 2007 :

Fantastic analysis. I am an avid reader of your posts. I will save this file in pdf to educate my 10 year old boy later on. Namaskar.
17 A.Moron on Saturday, August 04, 2007 :

Why USA is so interested : Because India will sign the Fissile Materials Cut-off Treaty, as envisaged in the July 18, 2005 statement. This would freeze India’s military nuclear capabilities at the current level. USA is jubilant at the prospect of capping India’s nuclear weapons programme, something they have not been able to do so far. However, Indian media cannot see that. Indian journalists are either very stupid or thay have taken bribes from the Americans.
16 A.Moron on Saturday, August 04, 2007 :

All future breeder reactors will be under safeguards with the result that in 25 years 90-95 per cent of India’s nuclear establishment will be safeguarded. This directly contradict the assurances of Indian leaders to Parliament that it would be up to India to decide which of our reactors would be put under safeguards.
15 V.Mironi on Saturday, August 04, 2007 :

India may have come up with a solution to the issue of reprocessing spent-imported fuel, albeit at an enormous extra cost of setting up a dedicated reprocessing plant just for this purpose. Many an extra item of expenditure like this, including IAEA inspection costs, foreign fuel inventory-carrying costs, the nearly 1.6 times price per megawatt we have to shell out for the imported reactors as against indigenous PHWRs, the indirect cost we bear due to the loss of nuclear manufacturing jobs in Indian firms like BHEL, L&T etc., will have to be billed solely against the much costlier electricity from these few foreign reactors. This alone belies the PM’s assertion that all this drama is enacted for the common man’s energy security.
14 S.Ghosh on Saturday, August 04, 2007 :

Sections 103(a)(5) and 104(c)(4)(A) of the Hyde Act clearly deny India the import of equipment, components and material related to uranium enrichment, fuel reprocessing and heavy-water production, unless it is for use in a multinationally controlled facility on Indian soil. Our negotiators do not appear to have succeeded in reversing this stipulation, and this is yet another case where the PM’s assurances have not been met.
13 S.Ghosh on Saturday, August 04, 2007 :

Indian media is all controlled by the American-Chinese-English. They will be very glad if India would be a subordinate to US Axis. All of them are praising the 123 Treaty forgetting what the Americans are saying. Indian scientists are just as bad; now they are saying everything is OK. They should ask why USA is not offering the same treaty to Israel and Pakistan.
12 S.Ghosh on Saturday, August 04, 2007 :

Indian media is all controlled by the American-Chinese-English. They will be very glad if India would be a suordinate to US Axis.
11 R. Sharma on Friday, August 03, 2007 :

India has surrendered to USA regarding nuclear weapons; so it will say nothing if USA declares Kosovo and Kashmir as independent countries. I am sure Indian politicians will still justify that.
10 V.Mironi on Wednesday, August 01, 2007 :

I have not seen any statement from any Indian leader about Kosovo, which is very similar to the issue of Kashmir.
9 R. Sharma on Wednesday, August 01, 2007 :

I guess Indian leaders and officers gain a lot personally. Most of them have sons and daughters in USA. So, they are prepared to sell India for their personal gains.
8 V.Mironi on Wednesday, August 01, 2007 :

Does India gain anything by joining the US-Gang? USA is giving $20 Billion worth of weapons to Arab states like Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, a part of that will be transferred to Pakistan, as Pakistanis form the most part of their Defence Services.
7 S.Ghosh on Tuesday, July 31, 2007 :

I am sure that Man Mohan Singh will be treated by the future generation as another Mir Jafar.
6 R. Sharma on Tuesday, July 31, 2007 :

Yes, I agree. India is making a wrong choice. After one year Bush will go, then Clinton will come. Relationship will go bad with USA as well.
5 A.Moron on Tuesday, July 31, 2007 :

There is not much hope for India, it is with the US which means all research on Space, Rocket, Missiles, Fast Breeder reactors will stop as Russia will be angry on India and USA will never help on these matters. This is the contributions of Man Mohan.
4 S.Ghosh on Tuesday, July 31, 2007 :

Indian policy makers are nothing but traitors to day. They only think about their Sons green card and their retirements in USA, as some of the former officers are now getting jobs there.
3 S.Ghosh on Monday, July 30, 2007 :

By accepting Indi-US Nuclear Treaty now India is in the US camp, although it will not get the facility like Pakistan is getting.
2 V.Mironi on Monday, July 30, 2007 :

Cold War can be hot any time in Kosovo. What would be the position of India I wonder!. Vajpayee said some years ago, Kosovo has opened our eyes. I hope that is true.
1 R. Sharma on Monday, July 30, 2007 :

India is quite good to ignore any warning. The Indian Foreign service people are just babus, pushing files. They do not care what is round the corner.

R. Sharma on Saturday, August 04, 2007 : Disturbing implications of the 123 Agreement [2 comments]

Given the enthusiatic response of the Indian media, and the political parties, there is no patriot left in India among the chattering classes, who control India. Ordinary Indians are being deceived by these people.
R. Sharma on Friday, August 03, 2007 : "India got more than what N-weapons states get" [1 comments]

This is a total lie. india is now a non-nuclear state. It will not be allowed to have any testing, any diversion of enriched uranium or plutonium for FBRs for nuclear weapons, these are all under IAEA contrls. India"s position is no better than that of Ukraine or South africe but much worse than Pakistan or Israel.

Chinnaraj on Wednesday, July 25, 2007 : Urban mission may not arrest migration [1 comments]

The urbanisation at the cost of rural economy will leave a large population poorer and restless. It is not in the best interests of the country. The rural economy needs to be nurtured and a balanced growth needs to be achieved. The growth story is not a commendable one, if it leaves a large segment of population in a backward condition.
