SA is unique in his quest for a divine life on a material plane through a harmony of virtues and unification of values...though somewhat utopian could make things better for a turbulent, if tried to achieve.

Dr. A.S. Dalal of the Sri Aurobindo Ashram in Pondicherry, and the distinguished author of several books on the psychological aspects of Sri Aurobindo"s and the Mother"s teachings and writings, has written a celebrated book comparing the perspectives of Eckhart Tolle and Sri Aurobindo on enlightenment. "Eckhart Tolle and Sri Aurobindo: Two Perspectives on Enlightenmemt," published by Stone Hill Foundation Publishing from Cochin, Kerala, contains a long interview the author had with Eckhart in Pondicherry in 2002. Not many people are aware that Eckhart visited India early that year, speaking in Chennai and Pondicherry. The book compares and contrasts the perspective of Sri Aurobindo and that of Eckhart Tolle, and the author has quoted at length from Sri Aurobindo"s and the Mother"s writings. Mohan Nair
