Be the Moplahs be ever so bad, they deserve to be treated as human beings." By saying all this, Mahatma Gandhi broke the track record of Babar, Nadir Shah and Aurangazib in the never ending vistas of Islamic compassion and Hindu fundamentalism.

If hindus want their existence to prevail,this is the last chance to wake up.these so called secular parties have always harmed hindus in the name of secularism.even though i respect PM Manmohan singh,but his comment that "muslim have first right over all the countries resources" is regrettable.We should not oppress any minority groups(christians or muslims,etc) but why should we hindus suffer.We are not asking for any special privileges but don"t snatch from us what we have and what we can have.if we are majority that"s not our fault,if we are more capable is it our fault,why should anybody get first preferance over me ,when we are competing from the same lot just because he is a muslim.

Savarkar was not a Hindu, but a Rationalist just like EVK Periyer or AnnaDurai who were the enemies of the Hindu. Vajpayee invited Mussaraf twice as a long lost son. BJP is setting up Hindus against Hindus. It has supported Biharis against Bengalis( Nitish Kumar destroying the Eastern and South Eastern Rlys). Now BJP supports Nepalese immigrants who are taking over the entire North Bengal. RSS should establish a new Hindu party rejecting the corrupt BJP, who during its rule only gave away public assets to the business community for songs and allowed the business community to enrich itself at the expense of the poor people.

Even in our neighborhood, Pakistanis were united as their military was creating fear and hate against India and also against America. All caste-based reservation reports (eg. mandal commission report or gujarat"s baxi commission report) provides a very long list of muslim castes eligible for OBC quota. Most muslim marraiges are arranged, within their own caste and often with a distinct cousin on mother"s side.

It is a convenient escape and not wanting to take ownership for one"s own problems. Muslims are a prisoners and victims of their own mullahs and blind beliefs. Every society in this world has people that take things to the extreme. Some Hindus abused their fellow Hindus too. That does not make all of them bad. the self pity of the Christians and Muslims does not help their well being. The Jains, zorastrians and Jews were even smaller in number compared to Christians and muslims . How come they flurished in the same India? There are any number of Christians Muslims that have become successful in the same India. How many Muslims have been successful in India? If Hindus are the problems for the ills , then why is conversion to Christianity is not working ? The converts suffer under the same caste from which they were promised freedom. Do not practive slaughter house love and call it Jesus Love. Where did the terms dalit Christian come from? Why do they have segregated churches and are abused by uppercaste Christians.? Why are the Bishops hoarding all the money and buying properties. Conversion is a money game. It has nothing to do with religion. Talk to the converts. You will know the real story of the minority mind set. Same sory with Muslims. read the book " masawat Ki Jung" . It talks about the perverted caste system in muslim community. Minorities are being used as pawns in the hands of politiciand and they are playing very well into their hands. They want every thing free without working for it. A democracy cannot survive that way. Those right thinking minorities made it to the top. Abdhul kalam is an example that India has a place for any one that is willing to work hard. A secular government has no place in a religious place - irrepective of the religion . Hindu tax payers and temple goers have every right to demand how their money is being spent. When it is being used to breed terrorist and destroy cultures ( all for votes), Government is asking for trouble. Inspite of all the monitory appeasement all these years , muslims educational level is abysmmal. What does the tell you other than the fact that they are not motivated to come out of their own self imposed prisons.

Dear Appa: While this article talks well about what is being done to the minorities, have you had a chance to look at articles on how minorities have been treated by the Hindus and more so by the Brahmin Hindus, in India. It may be a good idea to talk to minorities first hand. It might give you a better perspective to arrive at solutions. If you look at the issue from a minorities" perspective, you will see a different picture. Since you have already seen the picture through jaundiced (?) eyes of how Hindus are being marginalized, seeing this with a different set of glasses may help you view things differently. See the world from a victim"s eyes. And then if you write an article on why minorities need to be helped or why laws are passed to help minorities, it will give a breath of fresh air to your work. Some examples : 1. AP Govt passed legislation to help minorities open Engineering Colleges. The Kamma community quickly seized the opportunity to get "Caste conversion certificates" to grab the opportunity. They would have converted to Islam, Jew, Hindus or whatever to grab the opportunity! 2. Persecution of Christians by Hindus in Govt offices is also legendary. 3. If you see a Hindu Brahmin and a Cobra come towards you, kill the Hindu Brahmin is a saying well known in AP. There cannot be smoke without fire! To know it, we need to were glasses of the minority. If you recall, Iyers used to make fun of Iyengaars by saying that Iyengars hate Siva. They do not even utter the word "Kasi" because it has the Syllabe "Si" in it. If you do some research, you find that During the Chalukya Chola rule (especially of Kulothunga Chola), Vaishnavites were persecuted, more so by the Iyers! You ahd seen this depiction in the recent movie "Dasa Avatharam" by Kamal Hassan. So, please do some research on persecution, see if there is any element of truth, and I look forward to your writing a balanced article. SS

Srinivasan, I have read your blog post and I share your anguish at the ongoing onslaught on the Hindu Sanathana Dharma and the tradition and culture of Bharatvarsh. But I have my own doubts whether we Hindus should consider ourselves to be the 85% majority that you have written in your concluding paragraphs. I have my own take on this issue and I believe that most people in India are not really Hindus - they carry Hindu names and go through the motions of practicing one or the other of the rituals but they do not feel that they are Hindus. Their consciousness is not "Hindu". They probably identify themselves more as "Shaivaites" or "Vaishnavites" or with some such sect. But the most (vast) majority of the people in India, carrying Hindu names are actually non-Hindus at heart who care too hoots about the traditions and culture and have renounced all the "saatvic" and even "raajasic" elements of our Dharma and have given themselves only to the "taamasic" nature. That is the reason why we Hindus are not able to elect a government that will truly take care of Hindu interests. The sad fact is that Hindus are a minority in India. God Save Us ALL.
