Police who could not bring riots under control even after 2 days, were going round in Hindu dominated areas in the morning and advising them to sit at home, later in the afternoon, they advised them to gather in the chowks / at crossroads so that they would be able to give a fight as Muslims were likely to attack again. 6	g kapuria on Apr-18 : Simran...At your age, I also saw the world in such black and white terms. But that does not change the truth that the religions of the christians and muslims are violent. It is not a choice of some bad people belonging to those religions, they are REQUIRED to be violent against those who do not accept their religions. In the Bible, unbelievers are compared to trees that do not give good fruit. In the book of Luke (3:9), this instruction is given,"Every tree therefore which bringeth not good fruit is hewn down and cast into the fire." So they did for the better part of the 2000 years. In the first 100 years, a christian was always in danger of being murdered. From then on, christians have murdered non-christians raising the bogey of christian persecution. The Koran takes this murderous message even further.
