7	A.Moron on Aug-10 : The "Socialistic pattern of Society" is added to the Constitution in 1957 after the Avadi Congress where The Congress Party and other major parties ( except the Satantra Party) were agreed to change the Constitution accordingly. The word Secular was added in 1976 during the Emergency. Fabian society in Britain was founded by Geroge Bernard Shaw, and other British socialists from the Labour Party, which used to believe until 1996 in Democratic Socialism. Fabians are not Marxists. It is not true Stalin has killed Millions. Now all the records of the Soviet archives are available openly. According to the estimates made by a number of scholars, Stalin has killed about 36000 members of the Bolshevik Party and the Red Army, including Lenin, Lenin"s wife, Kirov, Bukharin, Trotsky, Zenoviev, Maxim Gorky, and all leaders of the revolution. About 450,000 people, 98 percent of them were either common criminals or German collaborators, were killed in various labour camps during the period 1940-46. However, it is a fact some of the labour camps were not bad at all. Famous engineering designer Karaliev ( father of the Rockets), Antonov( designer of airctafts), Tupolev( designer of missiles and aircrafts) were inmates of the labour camps along with their associate scientists and they were allowed to do their research in those camps, which later became parts of the University of Novosibirsk, and other famous institutes in Novosibisk, Omsk, and Irkusk, all in Siberia, where most of the facilities of the government and universities were transferred during the 2nd World War. It is a fact that all our freedom fighters, whether in the Congress or in the revolutionary groups, were socialists. Those who founded the CPI in 1920, were all Indian revolutionaries escaped to the Soviet Union. Those who supported the British Raj yesterday ( Business community, Maharajas, Nawabs) are today also supports American capitalism.

See the quotes from Jawaharlal Nehru the most powerful nehruvian socialist (ie. An ideoligical mixture of fabian-sociaism and communism aka fabian-stalinist):- Nehru"s speech in parliament: "Marshal Stalin was a man of peace....he lived for peace...he even faught war for peace.... " Stalin"s gulag killed millions mostly due to lethal working condition and starvation. However, Nehru denies it in his book. He wrote ".....all those rumors are wrong...i have personally visited those prisons....I am positively impressed....working condition better than factory floors in mumbai..." Even Mahatma Gandhi show no contradiction between socialism and communism. He wrote in his book "My Socialism" By M. K. Gandhi:- -"I am a communist." -"My communism is a harmonious blend of socialism and communism". -"Millionars may keep their millions. They will act as a trustee on behalf of masses. However, In time of greater need government shall take it ALL away". You see mahatma gandhi proclaimed himself as both communist and socialist. He also believed that both barrister and barber should get same pay.
5	M Patel on Aug-10 : kishankb & A.Moron --- Read my comment again. It"s two separate arguments made to buttress one single point. First is India"s constitution defines it as a Socialist nation. Second is Fabian-Socialist/Stalinist/Maoist has a death grip over india"s poitics, media and academia. I never said that india"s constitution defines is as Fabian-Socialist/Stalinist/Maoist state. Word "Socialist" was added to constitution of India in late seventies. Word "Fabian" is derived from roman general "Fabius" whose fabian-strategy was to fight via harrassment and attrition. A fabian socialist is someone who believe"s in this undemocration "fabian strategy". The difference between fabian-socialism and communism is pretty minor. Both have same end goal in mind only the means to achieve that end is slightly different. Communism"s mean is direct-war (ie. revolution). Fabian-Socialist mean is indirect-war (ie. harrasment, attrition, character assasination etc). Both might temporarily adopt democracy as a stop gap measure but their true-commitment is to revolution and fabian-strategy respectively.

Aspire defines to me as a responsible. India is also defined as a Secular Socialist state. M.Patel: There is heaven and hell of a difference between Fabian and Stalism. Fabians believe in democratic socialism. Stalin has killed every members of the old Bolshevik party ( including Lenin and Lenin"s wife Krupskaya) to create his own dictatorship. The main problem is that 80 percent of the people are below the poverty line. They have no money to buy books or pencil, and no place to study.

1	M Patel on Aug-09 : Kishan has made an excellent case for reforming education in rural india because current system does not encourage independent-thinking which is the source of all original creativity and innovation. However, India"s constitution defines it as a Socialist nation and Fabian-Socialist/Stalinist/Maoist has a death grip over india"s poitics, media and academia. Independent-Thinking means students would study all facts and come to their own conclusion and action. "Fabian-Stalinist" Idelogy and actions cannot withstand fact-based scruity. This makes "Independent-Thinking" a greatest threat to fabian-stalinist establishments. Hence, It is in the interest of Establishment to promote current system of memorising and parroting some-else"s quotes and conclusion.
