Personal preferences of the members of the Nobel award committee do have an impact on the outcomes not only of the Peace but also of other Nobles. Of the five objectives listed for Barack Obama to be eligible to cash his "post-dated check" and his chances of achieving them, three are marked possibly achievable. Sufficient for him to get the honor, opinions varies from overwhelmingly yes to not. Obama gotten Nobel or not, Indian government will be under pressure to sign the NPT and CTBT.
