8	George Mathew on Nov-08 : Feedback sent to Author: Non-Violence-to-Warlordism In your entire article, you failed to mention about the "Esseenes" or "Eseenes" who were Jewish and yet did not agree to slavery, meateating, violence and other worldly activities -- they were even celibates. Is it because you have not heard about the Esseenes or was it that you considered them to be too much of a minority. Yet, they were made of Cohens and Levites, the very cream of Jewish society. What is "Non Violance" without the Esseenes? May I have your opinion.

It is helpful to know the premise and the conclusion in advance, just like in scientific papers, before the reader decides to even read the article, especially in a series where it is difficult or even impossible to get the author"s drift.

Integral to this volition and propensity is the slogan, "LAND FOR PEACE". They have been conquering land after land PROMISING PEACE but LAND STAYED WITH THEM WHILE PEACE AND NON MUSLIMS VANISHED. In 1947 India gave them LAND FOR PEACE. The land was preposterously more than her OWN FIVE PROVINCES. They went under the hammer of Arabia, to kiss the Book from there, adore the Arabis language and appreciate the camel while dumping the cow, the sanskrit language and all the Indian gurus, mahatmas, avataras and scriptures. While Nehru and Gandhi went to sleep after this historice defeat and surrender, their rest lasted only a few wseeks. The MUSLIMS had INVADED Kashmir and again insisted on LAND FOR RPEACE. We see that it is easy to displace the Hindu "jackals" who forgot their homes in Lahore and Karachi in a second while the MUSLIMS retain the URGE TO RETURN to original LANDS for centureis, e.g., Palestinian threat to Israel, LAND FOR PEACE. Israel knows, unlike the Hindus adoring the Khans of Bollywood, that if they keep on giving land the whole country will be GONE like Sindh from India. My knowledge of Jainism is limited and for my article I just wanted to show that evolution is responsible for variations in observed infinite human behaviors. Human behavior can explain how political sciences have evolved; all religions to my knowledge are comingled with some form of social, cultural, economic and political sciences. As for non-violence I have recounted history to make a point that cultures have gone through cycles; from warlordism before Ashoka converted to Buddhism to non-violence and then back to warlordism as practiced as practiced by followers of monotheism. In my next article I address how cycle turned from warlordism to democracy; again it is evolution taking place in political science coupled with social, cultural and economic norms. Most constitutional democracies that allow fundamental human rights to all its citizens are secular, eliminating the infallibility of clerics that exists in religious states, both feudal and non-feudal. Clerics in all religions have promoted at one time or other discrimination based on gender, faith, etc, which is unacceptable to societies that value equal rights and opportunities for all as in secular democracies.

None of our ancient scriptures like Shruti, Smruti, upnishad etc never refered so. What I have known from some reseaches as first Aagams(practiing,Shivagams, Shaktas) then followed Vedas(Knowledge,homa, sacrifice, not much about temple worship), much later Buddisms, Jainism. The way native Indians broadly called Hindus or Sanatanis, before that very same people known as Shivites. Harappan(Pashupati) civilisation is proof for that. What is your opinion?

Even self-defences systems like Karate, Kug Fu etc invented or practiced mostly by them? When do they practice ahimsa and how? Cantrary to it, the Jains" Ahimsa, not much given much attached them or just mentioned about them. Even though they practices it very strictly till today. They have transformed thier lives for up holding Ahimsa. They preach and practices too.
