Narendra Modi as Prime Minister - Part I
India Forum: Comments, Opinion - Information Resource
News Summary: The recent drama that evolved when Anil Ambani, Sunil Mittal, Ratan Tata and other industrialists lauded Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi at the investors summit in Gujarat, claiming his leadership as national level material and wishing that person like him should be the next leader of the country, was quite interesting and deserves an honest appraisal......read more in: Narendra Modi as Prime Minister - Part I

This was a very good article...A lot of people, specially out of Gujarat have a certain negative image of Modi and are not even aware of the kind of amazing work he is doing..He is definitely the best person to be the Prime Minister of this country, even supported by people like Mittal, Tata, Ambani etc

From the land that has given us a Vivekananda, a Subhash Chandra, an Arbindo, a Bankim Chandra as well as

the innumerable leftists, Commies, Congies, Maoists, Mullahs, Missionaries and the most menacing of all MaKaulytes,

it is so breathtakingly fresh to start hearing voices of patriotism once again! It is now or never.

BJP is not wise but periled because of old age.

Modi indeed is the true leader of modern INDIA.
Kudos to your recommendation.

The media and the UPA are trying hard to create confusion among BJP
supporters by publishing statements of a few BJP leaders and
industrialists about the selection of Prime Ministerial candidate.
Those who believe in Hindutva should keep it in mind that at this
juncture the unity of the party is more important than anything else.
If the party fails to get absolute majority, whether it is Mr. Advani
, Mr. Modi or Shekawat is not going to make any difference. Mr. Modi
was able to show his capability because Gujarathi people gave him
absolute majority. Mr. Modi is committed to the welfare of the
.people. There is no surety that Mr. Modi will be able to shine if
he takes over as PM. Conditions are different from state to state.
It is a herculean task to ensure good co-ordination among the
different states.

The Late Mr. Morarji Desai was a very good CM of Maharashtra. At
that time many people thought he would be the best candidate for
Prime Ministership after Nehru. But he had become unpopular when he
worked as Finance minister under Nehru, due to his Gold Control
Ordinance. All over the world people are talking very high about the
Ex- premier of Singapore Mr. Lee Kuan Yew. Singapore is like a small
state in India. I am a person who worked in different capacities in
different places in India. The conditions are different from place to
place. It is not possible to adopt the same policy and same techniques
everywhere. Take the case of Mr. Ratan Tata. When he took over as
Chairman of the entire Tata Industries from the Late JRD Tata no one
thought that he will be able to do a better job than his mentor. There
was lot of opposition from Mr. Russi Modi who was considered to be the
best corporate manager in those days.
When Mr. Russi Modi was shunted out from Tata Iron & Steel by Mr
Ratan Tata, the Govt appointed Mr. Modi as Chairman of Air India &
Indian Air lines to improve the working of the state -owned carriers.
But he proved to be a miserable failure there. Whoever may be the
Prime Ministerial candidate of the BJP,we cannot expect wonders. At
least we can expect that BJP will not adopt any policy that
antagonizes Hindus such as the controversial Sachar Committee
recommendations,Sethusamudram project, arrest of revered sadhus and
sanyasis, Implicating Army officers in anti-national cases and so on.
BJP will not take a lenient view on conversion activities of
christists. So the time has come to defeat the anti- Hindu parties of
the UPA and the Left.

Arindam.. English-language Indian media need to be called what they really are: Anti-Hindu liars. It is very important that PILs against them are filed. For our country to survive, we must make them surrender themselves before the court of law.
6 S.Ghosh on Feb-03 :

There is no chance for modi at all. The results of the Next election will be manufactured by the Gandhi-Brigade. We have thus a rotten government, a president who is a loan defaulter and possibly a murderer; a spineless PM who tolerates rapists, murderers, thieves in his cabinet; a new budding Badshah who like all Badshahs before is a foreigner both in physique, culture and religion and a queen who is the ring-leader of corruption; a law minister who is an expert in breaking the law of decency.

5 A.Moron on Feb-03 :

Narendra Modi is efficient and honest, other Chief Ministers are either inefficient or just thieves.

4 Truth Speaks on Feb-02 :

Narendra Modi stands for Truth, Honesty and Integrity, the qualities lacking in most Indian politicians. Modi as PM can transform India more than Obama as president can transform America. Narendra Modi is #1 choice for 90% youth of India.

1 S.Ghosh on Feb-01 :

Narendra Modi can do things; other Chief Ministers cannot. If we have a Chief Minister like Narendra Modi in our West Bengal, TATA would have stayed in Singur.

Our Chief Ministers did nothing but allowed and still allowing thugs and criminals of Trinamul Congress and Gurkhas to take over the state, while he was just watching films and smoking Havana ciger.

Gujaratis are lucky, we Bengalis are unfortunate.
