8	longpole1 on Tuesday, October 07, 2008 : Exactly, Ghosh. Neither technology and science nor ideology brings and preserves wealth for the people. The most important things are strong state, national interest, efficience, corruption free administration and VISION. Unfortunately, in India in last 60 years these two parties which are on left side are lacking in all the fundamental qualities and that is why if India really wants to progress she should throw away these administrations. Never forget the history. If you forget the history consequences multiply. Just about 200 hundred years ago, India still was producer of 25% of wealth in the world and in 200 years of alien rule it accelarated to make India a total pauper. The earlier eight hundred years destroyed all cultural and religious institutions which soften India for economic melt down. The next alien rule required only 200 years to economically destroy India. If India will remain a weak state, God save India.
7	S.Ghosh on Monday, October 06, 2008 : Modern science and technology has nothing with Lewft or right. USSR was the most advanced in modern science & Technology, space research, medicine. It was not a Capitalistic country. China is not a open market economy but a planned economy but not a socialist one. Russia is rich because of its natural resources; if the USSR rather than giving away its natural resources to its allies and friends would have done business like the Arabs, it would be much more richer than the Arabs. India"s problem is not due to the LEFT, because they never got the power except for in some very small states. Nehru was in league with Birla and Tata, he was not a leftwinger; neither was Gandhi, who was on the payroll of Birla and Bajaj.

Unfortunate character of India"s leftist is that they are in denial that both China and Russia are prospering because they have adopted free market economic principles for job opportunity developments for masses. Many leftists are also confused and they pay lip service to Gandhian principles without understanding philosophy underlying Gandhian emphasis on traditional Indian knowledge. Demographic changes are making it necessary to innovate to feed, clothe, house, employ, educate, etc a population of India that is now more than a billion. Unless India"s traditional knowledge base is supplemented by innovations of modern sciences and technologies that we are empowered with there is no way we can be a socially responsible Indian culture dedicated to cater to needs of masses.

I am talking about the root cause. If you have no understanding of your values, goal, tradition, history, strength and weaknesses, you have no love for people. These two parties have no vision and they are cutting the branch on which they are sitting. But it is much more deeper than retardness. It is treason.

Tata himself praised the support he got from the West Bengal government and blamed Mamata Banerjee, who got money most possibly from the Marwari business community in Bengal and Rahul Bajaj, who openly supported Mamata Banerjee. Congress party and Sonia Gandhi also supported Mamata. They made this conspiracy to destroy the industrial rejuvination of West Bengal, which was ruined at the time of Indira Gandhi-Morarji Desai government in 1966.

Bengal"s loss is Gujarat"s gain. This is the one punishment for voting anti national left to power in Bengal. Leftists are not following even their grand father China which is nationalist, proud of its ancient history and its own values, customs and language. Their schools and colleges do not suppress their own golden past unlike Congi-Commie couple in India though they are separated and not living together after producing pseudo aulads whom poor Hindus will have to pay alimony for life.
