The meaning of Jihad and Holy war is very different unlike what u have interpreted. You must visit an islamic scholar and learn about the teachings of Koran. All religion teaches u to be tolerant..so does Islam. The people who commit such crimes are those who do it in the name of relgion..for their personal benefit. Does any religious organisation of the muslim support such groups?
