If muslims are in minority, they do not go along with majority and and they would like everybody to follow Geneva Conventions. If Muslims are in Majority, there is no minorites and they will impose Shariat and pay Jijya. It is height of Hypocracy.

Once a year Portuguese men used to bring African slaves to catch Hindus.Then cowflesh was rubbed into the lips and mouths of the caught Hindus. At once they became non-Hindus and converted to Christianity. During the Noakhali riots, Muslims used to slaughter the cows belonged to Hindus and shoved the cowflesh down the trhroats of Hindus. Job done. Hindus converted to Islam get financial benefits in Saudi Arabia, same thing happens to Hindus converted to Christianity In great India.
8	Dipak on Jun-03 : Kazi A. Masud mentions Islam and Christianity as great religions (so he agrees there are religions beside Islam !). If they are so great, why do they have to convert people by hook or by crook. It is more like Imperialism than religion. Muslims caused the greatest holocaust in the world (India), killing more than 80 million Hindus. They killed so many men women and children on Pariyatra Parvat - the name of the mountain was changed to Hindu Slaughter (Hindu Kush). They took many Hindus as slaves, probably the present day Gypsies, are decendents of those Hindus who escaped from their clutches. Since Mohammad"s time, when they attack a community, they also rape the women. They have virgins waiting for them in paradise, if they get killed in the process (I wonder what happens to these virgins when their virginity is lost). Muslims are still after the Hindus in Bangladesh and Pakistan. It is sad that these people with an Arab lifestyle, do not realise that their Hindu forefathers faced the same brutal torture. This religion is so great that infidels cannot take their religious books with them to Saudi Arabia, can"t pray to their Gods, indoors or outdoors, can"t open schools for their children, cannot be cremated when they die. Hindus had a glorious presence in Arabland before Mohammad came into existence (see Vedic Arabia by Qureshi Khan). A group of Bangladeshi apostates in UK in a statement said (courtsey of Dr Bhramachari) "one who claims top be a messenger of God is expected to live a saintly life. He must not be given to lust, he must not be a sexual pervert and he must not be a rapist, a highway robber, a war criminal, a mass murderer or an assassin. One who claimes to be a messenger of God must have a superior character. He must stand above the vices of the people of his time. Yet Muhammad"s life is that of a gangster godfather. He raided merchant caravans, looted innocent people, massacred entire male populations and enslaved their women and children. He raped women captured in war, after killing their husbands and told his followers that it is okay to have sex with their captives (Quran 33.50). He assassinated those who critisized him and executed them when he came to power and became de facto despot of Arabia. Muhammad was bereft of human compassion. he was an obsessed man with his dreams of grandiosity and could not forgive those who stood in his way...."

6	g kapuria on May-25 : Guys.. Islam in danger is only a convenient slogan, similar to the bogey of Christian persecution. They have other meaningless slogans as well. For example, Islam is a religion of peace and Christianity is a religion of love. Sophisticated arguments by scholars of those religions have just one aim. Divert public attention. History is evidence how true those claims were and current events tell us that they have not changed for the better. If they were genuine, they would start by taking responsibility and by addressing the harm done to their Hindu victims. You would never see them do none of that.

Eventually hired guns became so powerful and began to blackmail Romans and the Romans became infamous history. Churchill understood the heavy price of appeasement and opposed it. The rest is history. Only people with the strength of character can see it and can defeat the people who want to rule and not serve.

The simile of Dresden china comes near. Faith is unreal and falsely poses as spirituality because it is not rooted in reality. Unreal faith cannot create cultures, because cultures are based on rationality. Both Islam and Christianity have assumed prior cultures and imposed male supremacy. This is not culture, but the opposite. The good things that you see in the so-called Islamic culture is derived from original Arab culture. And the same with pre-Christian European cultures.
