2 S.Ghosh on Jan-14 :

Who cares about Indian snap? It will be totally ineffective, as Pakistan does not depend on India for anything.

There is only one weapon exist for Pakistan if India will dare to use it. If India can send all Muslims to Pakistan, it will be a right answer.

Some of us who don"t realize how significant this political action is I suggest they read an editorial in Dawn, Jan 6, 2009, titled, "The Indian conundrum," by Shahid Javed Burki. Pakistani generals pretend that in dealing with India they have balls size of melons, but each time they take on India, they lose ground economically. The current economic state of Pakistan is presented by the Center for Research and Security Studies in an editorial that appeared in the Dec. 8 issue of The News. Log on to crss.pk webpage and click on "CRSS in the News" Button to see the link to the article. I quote from the article, "(Pakistan is facing) ......chronic socio-economic problems, political instability brought on by successive governmental failures to address the needs of the mega population and civil unrest fueled by famine and/or persistent food insecurity for most of the population both urban and rural. Already 31 per cent of all children suffer from malnutrition, and our infant mortality rate at 78 per 1000 is worse than some of the worst of the failing African states. A paltry 4.38 per cent of Pakistanis are university graduates and a minuscule 1.58 per cent has a Masters degree. A mere 17.29 per cent struggles through ten years of desperately poor quality education to reach matriculation, dwindling to 6.25 per cent who go the last mile and achieve "Intermediate" after twelve years. Unemployment as of the end of Sept 2008 is 25 per cent and can only increase as the power crisis continues throwing people out of work and into penury. Poor or non-existent planning and an institutional lack of ability to think further forward than the next junket suggest that this situation is unlikely to improve in the foreseeable future; and Pakistan"s love-affair with all things military is going to have to end with a shift of budgetary focus from defense to one that is health and education-oriented. Fail to do this and at the end - which may be closer than we like to think it is - we will be left with nothing but a puzzled army guarding an empire of skeletons."

g kapuria on Friday : I strongly disagree. Secularists are the biggest threat to India. They shelter the fundamentalist muslims and christians. Secularist newsmedia do not report their misdeeds, which gives goondas like Bal and Raj Thackeray a platform.

According to Dr. Farrukh Saleem (The News, Jan. 11) India and America are engaged in a war of attrition over a politically, economically and militarily fractured Pakistan. In addition to military"s passive actions that are in place I think both America and India should take actions to economically starve Pakistan to make life unbearable for ruling ....
S.Ghosh on Jan-11 : US fears Pak nukes fall to Jihadis [1 comments]

USA is wrong since 1956 when they put a Jehadi Ayub Khan in power, then created Mujaheedins and Talibans.
Nuclear weapons are already in the hands of the Jehadis, because Jehadis are the Pakistani Army men.

Out of three new MLAs elected in this byelection in West Bengal two of them are Muslims ( from The Congress and Trinamul Congress) but only one is an Adibashi Hindu ( from CPI(M)).
What conclusion can we draw from it? 66 percent of the population of West Bengal are Muslim!!!!
S.Ghosh on Jan-10 : No salary for Satyam staff for 2 months [1 comments]

At least from the third months they will get some salary. Employees of Dunlop will not get anything at all. They were offered Rs.2000 per head per month, but because of the opposition of the Trinamul Congress and The Congress, that was also spoiled.

030201kishankb on Jan-09 : Mumbai cops to teach Wi-Fi users do"s & don"ts [1 comments]

This amusing. No disrespect intended but cops and Mumbai cops in particular are IT challenged. Asking cops to guide general populations is like asking blind to lead handicapped.
