5	Mohan on Nov-08 : Two comments. The first is about the material - it is marvelous. Second is that there is no concept of pre-Vedic times. Vedas propagated orally from time immemorial. The oldest known veda, the Rig Veda itself is dated by text, about 7 to 10000 years ago. The timeline in this article is 5500 to 7000 b.c. and this is the Vedic Period, not pre-Vedic.

3	S.Ghosh on Nov-07 : Gidwani"s book is a novel, it is not history, t cannot prove or disprove anything. If you accept novels as history then you have to accept all novels written by the Anglo-Americans and others as history. You have to accept Indiana Jones-Temple of Doom as a proper description of the Hindus. How 8000E can be pre-Vedic, when Vedas were composed from the beginning of the human existence. There is nothing which is Pre-Vedic. Aryans are not a race, according to the Vedas, Aryans follow the path of knowledge and light, non-Aryans follow the path of ignorance and darkness.
2	Danav-Asur on Nov-07 : There is no neccessity to blindly accept Darwinian theory of evolution, without understanding overall divine principle. To prove the point, the scientific theory of big bang is defective and can not be true. Big bang can not be starting point of universe. From any point of view anything, forget about universe,time, space stars can comne out from nothing. If it was something from which universe came, it was there before the universe and big bang is wrong as starting point of universe. But Vedas has answer. There is nothing but Brahm. So question of From does not arise AS FROM PRESUPPOSES 2 WHICH IS SUCCESSFULLY ANSWERED BY ALL THINGS BEING ONE AT DIFFERENT STAGES. Therefore, it is wrong to say a prevedic time. Vedas are eternal in India. There was no time which was prevedic in India. There is no time Aryans returned with Vedas or something as they never left. Some Aryans were migrating out always as happened and mentioned in Ramayana and Mahabharata during Aswamegh Yagna. The Vedas were always present in Ganga Jamuna Saraswati region and throughout east south west and north including in some east part of Pakistan.
