Idol Worship & 33 Crore Gods - Part II
India Forum: Comments, Opinion - Information Resource

Hindus too believe so, but then there remains a question often shaped as a mockery over Hindus about the various practices of worship rendered to innumerous God in their faith. And this question is often thrown by people, who are philosophically and religiously recognized. How come Hindu religion has 33 crore Gods? Is it sensible at all to believe and practice this? Dear Chanchal Malviya,

The article truly is inspiring and an eye-opener to humanity. I perfectly agree with you and also feel that we humans, who are open to knowledge are still ignorant on a simple natural law of the universe, that there is only one supreme power in the universe whom no one has ever seen or heard before, but still fight among themselves over the supremacy. It is not humans who should decide which God is supreme, but should thank the supreme creator of the universe and hail this eternal power for bestowing mortals to respect and understand his creation.

Proud Hindu at 18:28 Today : We all must strongly denounce and condemn the violence and the gundagiri of the Shiv Sena and the MNS. Throw these bums out. They don"t represent me, a proud Hindu, in the least.
g kapuria at 15:31 Today : I strongly disagree. Secularists are the biggest threat to India. They shelter the fundamentalist muslims and christians. Secularist newsmedia do not report their misdeeds, which gives goondas like Bal and Raj Thackeray a platform.

The chinese have bought this so-called Sino-US tie. Nothing to be at a loss about. US always sided with Pakistan, now they have new ties with China. Should we be concerned? It seems not, given the silence of the Congress govt.
g kapuria at 15:35 Today : Bajrang Dal calls for boycott of Chinese goods [4 comments]

We produce far too little goods in India. The consumer demand is so great that whatever crap is brought to the market, at whatever price, is sold. We will never get rid of chinese crap until we go into manufacturing in a much bigger way and the economy is opened up so we can buy stuff at low international prices.

The Government should instead try to save the people, not the tigers, or wolfs or Cheetas, or crocodiles.
There are lots of people who starve to death in India, but the government is spending a lot of money to increase the population of liona or tigers. What is the benefit. Lion population has increased from 55 in 1960 to 400. Does that mean th....

Nothing was achieved at all. The law still stands as a Judge has no right to discard a law, amend a law or set aside a law, only the Parliament can do these. Thus, the comments of this High Court Judge itself is illegal.

Homosexuality is not a crime but a psychological illness, which must be treated compulsarily.
