1	030201kishankb on Feb-04 : I was taken in by the Shinning India slogan so much that when I learned truth about it I lost respect for its architects including the journalist turned politician of the BJP party. Since then I have used every such news with a grain of salt and current manufactured news is also a part of such comedy by bureaucrats and politicians. I also remember the Incredible India slogans at Devos; it is true once we accept that the incredible part also includes for rural communities a 16 of 24 hour power black outs, 260 million making less than $1 day to survive, literacy rate of 64% simply means 64% population can sign their names but not much more, etc. India has successful businesses, but looked at it from statistical perspective, they are outliers, not the norm as is the case in America and Western Europe.
