2	S.Ghosh on Jun-28 : Most tax payers do not use Air-India International at all particularly those who are from Eastern India as Air-India International hardly touches this area for the last 40 years. Only those who are rich or upper middle class use Air-India domestic. Thus, tax payers money should not be used for air-india. It is much to sell it in auction.

AI has a staff of 31,000 and for an average family size of 5 that means up to 150,000 free travelers. Add to this an equally large, if not larger number of free loaders from Indian bureaucrats and politicians you will get a picture of why AI is a not a profitably operated or mismanaged business.
