9	Truth Speaks on Jul-07 : So, the better way is to make it a big case through the courts and show that EVMs can be manipulated. For example, in Sivaganga, home minister PC Chidambaram was declared as lost, but then there was recount and he won. One hell of a EVM manipulation. His opponent is contesting that election in the court. If the court rules against PC"s election, then EVMs are gone.
8	Truth Speaks on Jul-07 : R.Sharma, I get your point, but in an unmatured democracy like India where the mass media supports the ruling party, they can paint the BJP and CPM resignations as unnecessary another election burden on "poor" people of India. I like your view, but think practically very much impossible, given the hostilities between right and left parties.

Even the world"s most technologically top countries like Germany reverted back to paper ballet and manual counting of the votes because of the fraud proneness of EVMs. World"s oldest democracy America (which is biggest IT importer in the world) also uses paper ballets.

Better, it would have been to launch a pad yatra and a nation wide strike to cancel the election results. Another attempt by loser Advani to console himself.
