Congress, Tytler and the Sikhs
India Forum: Comments, Opinion - Information Resource
News Summary: Tytler was accused by the Nanavati Commission, which probed the 1984 riots as having a very probable hand in organising attacks on Sikhs. In a politically dramatic manner, the investigating agency submitted its report in a sealed envelope before the Metropolitan Magistrate Ram Lal Meena. The investigating agency in 2007 too had asked the court for permission to close the case arguing that it did not have sufficient evidence to proceed. However, the court had rejected the CBI plea. During the pro.....read more in: Congress, Tytler and the Sikhs

16 M Patel on May-01 :

R Sharma --- I agree that PM is extremely weak. However, Should not all those terrorist and their leaders who pulled out hundreds of hindus or non-turbaned-sikh from trains/buses and shot them dead be first derecognized (ie. declare them tankhaiya)?. Instead those leaders are adored and one of them is declared saint and has a dedicated wall in honoring him golden temple. Raise voice now or face the old terror problem all over again in future.
15 R.Sharma on Apr-30 :

It is not possible for me to understand how a Sikh PM can tolerate the killers of the Sikhs, Bhagat, Tytler, Sajjan Kumar and does nothing.
It seems to me this PM has to brain, no morality, no sense of honour. Sikhs should derecognize him as a Sikh.

14 g kapuria on Apr-28 :

MP..you do have a point. May be I was overly hopeful. But when none our leaders seems to care, what hope do we have? I hope the common people can use forums like this and thrash everything out.
13 M Patel on Apr-28 :

Davinder --- Totally agree with you. Both tytler and pro-khalistani"s should face heat. However, Only tytler is facing heat mostly from various sikh-org and bjp. Why sikh-org"s and bjp are totally silent about pro-khalistani"s ?. Is this silent endorsement to 11675 murders committed in 1980s ?

GK --- I totally disagree with your notion time will dilute. Look at history, Time took care of some ideologies like germany"s nazism, japan"s imperialism. This happened because victims of nazism were not agonistic towards nazi sympathizers. Even a smallest pro-nazi gesture still invites rebuke. The ideology was demonised.
On the other hand, Some other ideologyies like dar-ul-islam were never protested and 60 years later it is raring it"s ugly head. Khalistani ideology is following the same trajectory today wall in golden temple is dedicated to Bhindranwale and not a single victim sikh or hindu protested. It"s quite likely that 60 years from now he will be declared secular and his statues will be found in amritsar and victims may not be alive to speak.
12 g kapuria on Apr-28 :

Davinder, I agree with you 1000%. Remember how the Khalistanis would drag out ordinary Hindus from the buses and shoot them to death? They also killed thousands, so when Indira Gandhi was killed by two Sikhs, Hindus found an excuse to hit back. You have to admit that it helped stop the Khalistanis. Just like you, I too am angry about both atrocities: Khalistanis killing Hindus and the Hindus killing Sikhs. But nothing will change for Hindus or Sikhs unless we can kick the crooked leaders out. Our politicans pick themselves. Ordinary people like you and I are not represented by anybody, so we have to speak up ourselves. I am glad that I was able to excite you to post a comment. Please write columns, submit opinions in websites like this one. Only then, we can have a free and fair India, where everybody is respected.
11 Davinder on Apr-28 :

Remember one thing: A Hindu, a Sikh or a Muslim ultimately is a human being.
Anyone who is wrong should be punsished & PUNISHED HARD.

Whatever is your view(either anti sikh or anti khalistan), remember that the common man has nothing to do with this. Its a political game played for selfish benefits.

DO u think SIKHS really wanted a Khasistan?
DO u think SIKHS really support DERA SACHA SAUDA?
Do u think that 3000+ SIKHS were killed without any conspiracy?

10 g kapuria on Apr-27 :

Perhaps time will dilute their passion, and that would be how our country escapes the Sikh crisis.
9 g kapuria on Apr-27 :

I agree with you. But personally, I think the SAD/SGPC/Khalistanis are a much bigger threat. Tytler does not come with any ideological baggage. At the most, he is a goonda. On the other hand, these Sikh politicians are not only violent, but they also preach separate Sikh identity, using false interpretation of both Granth Sahib and Hindu Scriptures. They even got the court to agree with them!!! What bothers me is that there is very little protests and the mainstream is too willing to buy temporary peace with them.
8 M Patel on Apr-27 :

GK...Who is a greater threat rougue elements within SAD/SGPC or Tytler?
Should not the greater threat be under greater scrutiny?

I am not saying that tytler is innocent. Actually, I love this stick to beat congress but it"s not fair that tytler faces the heat and pro-khalistani"s face no-heat. This is double-standard. One standard for tytler and another for khalistani-supporters. Both should be investigated.

MP..Those crooks just fit right in our political system. As long as the party high commands pick goondas to represent us, we will never get rid of them. We certainly are not done with the Khalistanis. Canadian Khalistanis are trying to re-group. These guys at SAD and SGPC will come handy when they are ready. If we survive the Pakistani Talibans, they may come next.
4 M Patel on Apr-24 :

What about the sikh politicians who encouraged, supported and in some case managed khalistani terrorism ?

Many sikh politicians like Khalistan Movement chief Jagjitsingh Chouhan were never punished for their self-proclaimed crime. Some of them are MLAs, MPs and even ministers in punjab cabinet. Why no action is being taken against them ?

Let"s not forget that 11651 murders were committed by khalistani terrorist. Stopping trains/buses and killing all non-turbaned male passengers happened many times during 1980s. However, Not once did SGPC, Akali-dal or congress condemned those actions without if"s and but"s. In fact, Section of SGPC and Akali"s justified and supported it.

Hundreds and thousands of people migrated from punjab to delhi. This riots are a nice stick to beat congress but the truth is that some of those upset migrants might have taken their revenge in delhi riots. After all the riots began with stone pelting at President ZailSingh Car Caravan. Congress workers will not throw stones at their own president.

Failure to punish terror supporters is bad. Forgetting those who fought is worse. However, Treating heros like KPS Gill and Late Sardar Beant Singh as pariah. Punishing, jailing and forcing decorated police officers to commit suicide is a Crime. That"s the crime indian-leadership is committing.
3 g kapuria on Apr-23 :

Tytler submitted pretty strong evidence to exonerate himself. I have no problem accepting that he has been framed by the SAD.
2 ginanunn on Apr-23 :

oh , i can"t believe that.
1 g kapuria on Apr-17 :

IndiaTV will feature Tytler in their Adalat show soon. From what little promo I saw, he was insisting that he is innocent and was hounded for 25 years for no reason.

Truth Speaks on Apr-30 : Congress gaining foothold in UP, Bihar? [1 comments]

Both BJP and Congress are gaining in UP at the expense of SP and BSP. Almost all media is saying it. But in Bihar, the Congress can grow only at the expense of RJD and LJP. Because CM Nitish Kumar(JD-U) and Sushil Modi(BJP) have a very clean image and running the government much much better than Lalu.

F.Kemal on Apr-24 : US presses Pak to shift focus from India to Taliban [1 comments]

Why would Paki pigs do that ? Their whole purpose of existence is to annihilate India and Hindus. If Taliban is on that mission, Paki"s will do their best to work with Taliban and facilitate desctruction of India. They are all muslims, so it doesn"t matter for Paki"s whether even Taliban takes over their country

Evagelicals sponsor christian terrorists in the northeast. And they are now sponsoring hate speech and publication of hateful books elsewhere in India. It does not bother secularist media, but it should bother Hindus.
