2	Jai Bharat on Nov-03 : What an idiotic thing for Chidu to say. Rama Janmaboomi to Hindus is as sacred to Hindus as Mecca and Medina are to Muslims. If some imperial/colonical ruler had destroyed and built a church over the Mecca shrine, then Muslims would have had a right to take down that church and rebuild the Muslim Mecca shrine. This is basic common sense. Some Hindus and Indians lack the backbone to even assert commonsense and seek/accord justice to the Hindu religion, the mother religion in the land where Hinduism was born and which made enormous and lasting contributions to the present extant human civilization. Again, almost all Muslims and Christians of India have Hindu ancestors who were converted by hook or crook during the imperial and colonial invasions and occupations of India. For them to respect Hinduism would be respecting their own ancestors and their own heritage. Muslim invaders of India destroyed thousands of Hindu/Buddhist/Sikh/Jain shrines during their conquests and regimes , and asking for restoration of some of the important ones among them is a BIRTH RIGHT of the Hindu people, and all Indians, regardless of their current acquired religious affiliation, and, indeed, every person anywhere on the planet, ought to respect and uphold that right of the Hindus.
