NGOs cannot file a case against Aurndhuti Roy or Noam Chomsky or Mahasheta Devi; they are supporting not the Naxals but the tribals, whose lands are being taken over by multinational companies who are creating SEZs to deprive both the workers and the tribals.

Where are all those NGOs who file patitions to the court for any trivial issue? Has anyone heard any NGOs in India filing a notice with the courts against Ms Roy for action?

In AP and WB they are gunning down political opponents of their patron political party. In Jharkhand/Chattisgarh they are into looting. Basically they are terrorists with part-time job of being paid henchmen.
10	Mohan on Oct-26 : Ghosh, wherever they are now at, from and whoever they are, whatever they were in past - they are brainwashed antagonists of India. Nothing justifies their terrorist streak. Various govts in Naxalites afflicted states gave sops to them, tried to rehabilitate them with jobs and compensation, but Naxals would have none of it, their grievances do not warrant terrorism. Zero sympathy for them, their movement.
9	S.Ghosh on Oct-26 : Mohan: In West Bengal, Naxals are killing only the members of CPI(M) and other left parties. They have the support of the Trinamul Congress. The leader of the Naxals is one Krisha Rao, from Andhra Pradesh. Most of the other Naxals are Santal Adhibashis from Western West Bengal or Jharkhand, the poorest people in India. The original Naxals of West Bengal ( 1967 origin) are now either retired or gave up violent movement.

6	Mohan on Oct-25 : Maoists do not want solutions - it is not about poverty any more. Most maoist guerillas are deliberately staying underground and bumping off govt establishments, police infrastructure, schools, post-offices etc. This is true in Jharkhand, parts of MP, AP etc. They have weapon cache from China and black market. In WB, they"ll go slightly easy on their terrorist activities because it makes no sense for commie extremists to hit out at commie govt. So the naxalism born out of WB has settled down in other states through locals in those states.
5	S.Ghosh on Oct-25 : Those who are from the Naxal infested states, like myself, would know that it is easy to arrest people and kill them as Naxals, as S.S.Roy did in 1970-77 ( 4000 killed and 80,000 tortured in jail). That will not solve the peoblem, which comes from extreme inequality of income. 80 percent of the people of India live with less than Rs.20 per day, when the Indian business community are buying palaces in London. This is the new Maharaja system introduced since 1991. The result will be more and more violence, when the multinational companies like Vedanta or Posco are taking away people"s livelihood, turning farmers into beggers. The solution should be to have more pro-poor policy, which we should not expect from either MM Singh or Rajnath Singh.

She identifies herself with every group that is not mainstream in India. Most communists are trying to work within the system. There are many such groups who have yet to learn that as a full parner of the main stream Indians they have a future. As terrorists drive by a debunked if not internationally dead political ideology they are likely to be left behind an India that is marching to provide equal opportunities for all, without biases of the past againest gender, communal divide, religious minorities and politically naive and ignorant members of political radical-leftist of how to be a part of 21st century global village.
